About Robert Falcon Scott.
Robert Falcon Scott was born to the proud parents, John Edward Scott and Hannah Scott on the 6th of June, 1868, Devonport, Devon, England. He was in between his two older sisters and his two younger siblings and was destined to be a hero.

When did he start serving in the Navy?
At the age of around 12/13, Robert Falcon Scott was already working with ships in the Navy. He was the midshipman onboard many boats and always got good refferals from the captain.

What happened next?
From here, he definitely was destined to be working with the sea until he died, tavelling through unknown lands and seas until he died. In 1897, at the age of 29, he changed from being a midshipman to a first lieutenant.

The First Journey.
During Scott's first journey, the Discovery, he was Commander. He led a team of Englishman and they left in 1901. They succesfully returned in 1904. Although they hadn't reached the South Pole as wished, they still made a record for the time. (For further reading on "The Discovery" go to custom page 3.
